Living Land Acknowledgement

At Blooming Minds Academy, we respectfully acknowledge that we are located on Treaty 6 Territory, the traditional lands of many First Nations, including the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, Dene, and Nakota Sioux.

We honour and recognize the ongoing relationship Indigenous Peoples have with this land and water.

As an early learning community, we are committed to truth, reconciliation, and respectful inclusion. We aim to integrate Indigenous perspectives, teachings, and respect for the natural world into our curriculum and daily practices - encouraging children to build meaningful connections with the land and the diverse cultures around them.
